The Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) announced that over 97% of Hong Kong residents applying for residence permits in Taiwan have been approved, with nearly 75% of them obtaining permanent residency permits. Yang, who is on the wanted list, fled from Singapore to Australia and has been hiding in various states.
