引述《天空新聞》（Sky News）等多家英國媒體報導，一名來自威爾斯的28歲男子卡尼（Joshua Carney），在剛剛服刑期滿出獄5天後，居然持刀闖入民宅，先控制母親行為、強迫她觀看女兒被侵犯的過程；隨後又強迫女兒做同樣的事情，卡尼犯案後被當地警方逮捕，經過毒品檢驗後，發現他體內有高濃度大麻（marijuana），清醒後完全不記得自己犯下如此惡劣的罪行，由於犯行重大、卡尼已遭法院判處無期徒刑。
