TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Rakuten Monkeys (樂天桃猿隊) announced on Wednesday (March 5) the presale details for their home games in the first half of the season. Fans can purchase tickets for the April 23 and 24 games at Taipei Dome (台北大巨蛋) for prices ranging from NT$400 to NT$1,000, with all sales opening on March 15.
The Rakuten Monkeys revealed that starting March 12, members and cardholders can buy tickets through the ibon online ticketing system and 7-ELEVEN kiosks. The initial sale will open B1 infield and outfield seats, with L2 areas available based on demand. Ticket prices for the Taipei Dome games include NT$1,000 and NT$800 for B1 infield hot zones, both offering complimentary items. Regular B1 infield tickets cost NT$600 for adults and NT$500 for children, while L2 infield tickets, contingent on availability, are NT$500 and NT$400, respectively. B1 outfield seats are priced at NT$400.
The Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL, 中華職棒聯盟) also announced that this year's season-opening promotion will take place at the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center (高雄展覽館), featuring a "Season Opening Reunion Banquet" (開季團圓大辦桌). The event invites fans to join renowned banquet chef "Chef Hong" (洪師傅) from Neimen (內門), Kaohsiung, with attendees receiving a limited-edition "Team Taiwan" Kaohsiung towel. Ticket sales for this promotional event begin at noon on March 6 through ibon, with only 900 seats available.
Fans eagerly anticipate both the Rakuten Monkeys' home games and the CPBL's unique promotional event, marking an exciting start to the baseball season.
