TAICHUNG (TVBS News) — The organizers of the Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage in Taiwan have launched a new app allowing worshippers to track the journey of the deity along the way.

The Dajia Mazu Pilgrimage in Taiwan, one of the most significant religious events in the country, is set to commence on April 21.

The app allows you to view the real-time location of Dajia Mazu's sedan and the locations of convenience stores, fast food restaurants, and gas stations.

Live streaming cameras mounted on the sedan provide a unique angle for devotees to watch the pilgrimage. Using the app, those who visit all the temples during the pilgrimage can earn a certificate and enter a raffle.

The pilgrimage, held annually in honor of the goddess Mazu, draws thousands of devotees from all over Taiwan.

The journey is considered one of the most important religious events in the country and is steeped in tradition and history.

The new app aims to make the pilgrimage more accessible to worshippers and enhance their experience by providing helpful information and a unique perspective.
