CHIAYI (TVBS News) — The Minxiong Haunted House, a renowned abandoned mansion located in southwestern Taiwan, is available for purchase at a listing price of NT＄68 million.
Constructed in 1929 by Liu Rong-yu, a local businessman, the Lui family abandoned the house in 1945. Subsequently, the mansion has become the subject of ghostly urban legends.
Local folklore attributes the haunting to the drowning of a maid in the well and an accidental killing during the Japanese era.
According to a real estate agent, 20 prospective buyers, including construction and development firms, visited the property.
