YILAN (TVBS News) — This weekend's cold spell didn't stop the Taiwanese people from visiting tourist spots around Taiwan.
Taiwan's hot spring areas are seeing more visitors. Jiuzhize Hot Springs in Yilan County attracted more than 2,000 people in one day.
The hot spring tourist spot also lets people cook eggs and corn to eat as snacks.
The lowest temperature measured Sunday was 5.7 degrees Celsius in Shimen, the most northern district in Taiwan.
