TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Snow enthusiasts woke up early on Sunday (Dec. 18) to brave sub-zero temperatures and marvel at the season's first few flakes of snow in northern Taiwan.
Over 1,000 people gathered in Yilan for an awe-inspiring spectacle — a rolling fog delicately embraced by towering mountains iced with glimmering frost crystals that slowly melted as the morning progressed.
With such a large turnout, Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area has taken extra precautionary measures and restricted its access to roads in the morning to ensure visitors' safety while they enjoy this magical winter wonderland view!
