TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwanese campers are gearing up in preparation for this weekend’s cold wave.
According to media reports, they are buying equipment such as warming sleeping bags, electric blankets, and heaters.
Some campers lamented the price of kerosene for heaters is ramping up. One liter costs NT＄44.1, up 60% from the same period three years ago.
Camping experts also stressed that ventilation is crucial or tiny droplets of water will form inside the tents from the temperature differences between the outside and inside.
