TAINAN (TVBS News) — Tainan City Government's Public Health Bureau (台南衛生局) denied sending out a questionnaire titled "Say a kind word to the section chief" (向科長說一句溫暖的話) on Sunday (Dec. 8) amid media allegations of an internal cover-up. This statement comes following the controversy surrounding a department head accused of workplace bullying.
An anonymous post on Dcard accused a Tainan City Government's Public Health Bureau (台南市政府衛生局) section chief of severe emotional management issues, including throwing objects, slamming phones, and shouting since last Wednesday (Dec. 4). The bureau announced on Sunday that it has initiated a thorough investigation, led by the deputy director and involving external experts comprising more than half of the committee.
The bureau emphasized a stringent approach to handling the matter. The bureau also urged the public to await the investigation's outcome, highlighting the importance of addressing and condemning bullying behavior while cautioning against causing unnecessary harm with unverified accusations. As the investigation unfolds, the bureau's call for patience and due process underscores the delicate balance between addressing serious allegations and ensuring fairness.
