TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Taipei District Prosecutors Office ordered popular entertainer Mickey Huang to pay a bail of NT$350,000 on Friday (Aug. 4) after being questioned for more than one and a half hours.
The prosecution came after a blogger in June accused Huang of forcing her to take explicit pictures and kissing her against her will. Another Taipei woman filed a lawsuit against Huang in July, accusing him of sexual harassment.
In relation to the case filed by the woman in Taipei, authorities from the prosecutor's office directed the police to search Huang's residence and office, seizing all digital records, including laptops and mobile phones.
It was the entertainer's first public sighting since the blogger's allegations surfaced in June.
Throughout the process, Huang maintained silence, appearing vacant. His wife, Summer Meng, did not accompany him; only his assistant and bodyguard were in attendance to provide assistance.
