TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwan has implemented various measures to curb the spread of the pandemic, and with the infection rate becoming more stable, the country plans to relax restrictions.
The indoor mask mandate, which has been in place for three years, will be lifted on Feb. 20.
More importantly, the Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) is discussing reducing quarantine days for COVID-19 patients from 5+n to 0+n.
The CECC continues encouraging vaccinations and booster shots while considering revising its reporting policy to focus only on severe COVID cases.
