TAOYUAN (TVBS News) — The Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation is shipping blankets to those affected by the Turkey-Syria earthquake.
The Buddhist NGO airlifted 600 boxes of blankets on Thursday, weighing 5.6 tons. The foundation plans to send more blankets, electronics, food, and daily necessities soon.
Hundreds of thousands of people have been left homeless in the middle of winter following Monday's deadly earthquakes.
