TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Hsiao Wu, a Taiwanese internet celebrity boasting over a million YouTube followers, openly discussed his discomfort with his English name "Jimmy" via an Instagram story.
During a conversation with his English tutor, Wu confessed feeling embarrassed about his English name, noting that it sounds "so cool" when others are called Jimmy.
The influencer recently hired an English tutor to enhance his language skills. In a chat screenshot, he inquired about one-on-one English lessons, prompting the tutor to ask, "Do you have an English name?"
Wu admitted to being "Jimmy," a moment he found deeply awkward and embarrassing.
