TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Foxconn Founder Terry Gou expressed on Tuesday (April 18) his confidence in the main opposition party Kuomintang (KMT), to make the "right choice" in their nomination for the 2024 presidential election.
Speaking during a press conference in Taipei, Gou reiterated his determination to represent the KMT, expressing confidence that KMT Chairman Eric Chu will choose the nominee reasonably.
The billionaire notably avoided mentioning the likely KMT candidate, New Taipei City Mayor Hou You-yi.
Regardless of the KMT's final decision, Gou has remarked that he intends to support the party no matter what.
