TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Foxconn founder Terry Gou revealed on Wednesday that his wife was less than enthusiastic about the possibility of his run for Taiwan's presidency in 2024.
As Gou faced reporters, Tseng shook her head in response to local media's inquiry about her support for Gou's presidential bid.
Gou acknowledged that there are still some domestic issues that need to be addressed before he decides to run for president.
He added that he is also waiting for the opposition party, Kuomintang (KMT), to release their nomination regulations before determining his next steps.
While Gou has not announced his presidential bid officially, his current stance and statements suggest that he is considering a run in the near future.
