TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Foxconn founder Terry Gou expressed interest in running as a presidential candidate for the Kuomintang (KMT) on Tuesday (Feb. 14).
Gou withdrew from KMT after losing the primaries in 2019, affecting the party's election results in 2020.
Gou said that he was "young and impulsive" at the time and probably "didn't take into account a lot of the political situation."
"It was a different time and background," Gou added. "I have learned a lot in these four years."
