MediaTek had experienced a robust 24.9% month-over-month increase from May to June, making July's decline part of the volatile semiconductor industry's fluctuations. The company's June performance proved particularly strong, with sales surging 31% compared to June 2024 levels. January-June cumulative sales reached NT$303.68 billion (around US$10.18 billion), representing a solid 16.5% increase over the same period last year.
July 2025 sales declined 5.2% compared to July 2024, when MediaTek reported NT$45.61 billion (around US$1.53 billion) in monthly revenue.
