TAINAN (TVBS News) — Tainan's first Christmas and New Year event of 2025 will kick off with a concert on Saturday (Dec. 20) at 6 p.m. at the Yonghua Civic Center (永華市政中心) west plaza. The South Korean sensation EVNNE will headline the show, promising an electrifying performance for fans.
On Friday afternoon, EVNNE's seven members met with fans, drawing enthusiasts from northern Taiwan to the south. Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che (黃偉哲) prepared local fruits and desserts for the group, offering them a taste of Tainan's renowned sweetness. The mayor stated that Tainan hope EVNNE takes this sweet experience back to South Korea.
The concert will feature a lineup of nine artists, including W0LF(S) (五堅情), Mixer (麋先生), Amazing Show (美秀集團), Dwagie (大支), Lee Ivy (艾薇), Chen Hua (陳華), Bryant Chang (張庭瑚), and Bettii (杯緹). The diverse selection promises a night of vibrant performances for attendees.
The Tainan City Government announced additional events, including a concert on Dec. 28 at the Nanying Green City Park (新營南瀛綠都心公園) and the New Year's Eve party at the Yonghua Civic Center west plaza on Dec. 31. These events aim to create memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.
