TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Mayor Chiang Wan-an (蔣萬安) announced Monday (Nov. 25) that the Taipei City Government will host a meet-and-greet with some coaches and team members of the Wei Chuan Dragons (味全龍) on Tuesday evening in the first-floor lobby of the city hall. Fans expressed excitement following the team's victory over Japan in the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) Premier12 championship Sunday night.
Taipei City Spokesperson Yin Wei (殷瑋) revealed that the event will feature coaches and players, including Chang Chien-ming (張建銘) and Lin Kai-wei (林凱威). The meet-and-greet aims to bring fans closer to their baseball heroes. Yin Wei emphasized the special opportunity for fans to interact with their favorite players. In addition to Taipei's celebration, New Taipei City will host the "2024 Premier12 Heroes Meet-and-Greet" at New Taipei Christmasland on the same day at 7 p.m.
