KAOHSIUNG (TVBS News) — Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chi-mai (陳其邁) announced on Tuesday (Sept. 24) that the city government is making all necessary preparations to warmly welcome BLACKPINK's Lisa back to Kaohsiung (高雄).
The K-pop star's agency confirmed that her "LISA Fan Meetup in Asia 2024" will include one in Kaohsiung on Nov. 17. The mayor stated that Lisa, who has many fans in Kaohsiung and Taiwan, is familiar with the city. He expressed confidence that Lisa's return will draw many fans to Kaohsiung.
While the exact venue remains unconfirmed, speculation suggests the event might take place at the Kaohsiung Arena (高雄巨蛋). The official announcement is still pending. BLACKPINK previously held a concert in Kaohsiung in March, which was a major success.
