TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Michelle Lee (李慧芝) assumed her role as the new spokesperson for the Executive Yuan (行政院) on Friday (Sept. 13).
Lee announced on Facebook that she is ready to take on her new duties, emphasizing the importance of not only communicating policies but also fostering dialogue between the government and the public.
Lee, a former anchor for Formosa Television (FTV, 民視), joins a trend of former news anchors assuming spokesperson roles in the government.

She noted that only through good communication can we establish stronger trust. She reiterated her readiness to take on her new duties, aiming to foster dialogue and work towards a better future for all.
