TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taiwanese actor Greg Hsu made his first public appearance in Japan on Wednesday (March 27) to promote the film "18×2 Beyond Youthful Days." The movie, a Taiwanese-Japanese co-production, stars Hsu and Kaya Kiyohara and has been a hot topic in Taiwan.
Hsu, along with director Michihito Fujii and co-star Kiyohara, attended a press conference where he expressed his excitement and happiness. "I'm very excited and happy. They came to Taiwan for promotion before, and now it's my turn to come to Japan. It's just like traveling in the movie, they are like my partners," Hsu said.
In the film, Hsu had brilliant performances with Shunsuke Michieda. Hsu said Michieda's character left a deep impression on him and played a crucial role in awakening his youthful memories.
Hsu warmly invited Michieda to visit Jiufen in Taiwan, promising to drive him around for a tour. "18×2 Beyond Youthful Days" is currently playing in theaters across Taiwan and is set to premiere in Japan in May.
