TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Farglory (遠雄) announced Monday (Nov. 4) that it reached an agreement with the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL, 中華職業棒球大聯盟) to prioritize baseball games at the Taipei Dome (台北大巨蛋) for the 2025 season. According to the Central News Agency (CNA, 中央社), Farglory, in collaboration with the CPBL, has scheduled 29 games and reserved dates for the All-Star Game, playoffs, and Taiwan Series.
Farglory told CNA about the importance of maximizing the venue's potential. The Taipei Dome, a stadium built with baseball in mind, aims to enhance its value through this partnership. The collaboration seeks to offer more international events for Taiwanese fans. Efforts to host international events, such as the Taiwan-Japan baseball exchanges, are underway — farglory plans to bring these competitions to the Taipei Dome with the CPBL and event organizers.
More importantly, Farglory pledged full support for the 2025 World Masters Games (May 17-30), held in Taipei and New Taipei for the first time, by coordinating the stadium's schedule to participate in this significant international sporting event.
