TAIPEI (TVBS News) — A male police officer was found dead in his bedroom at the National Police Agency's (NPA) Special Police Sixth Headquarters (SPSH) in Taipei's Zhongzheng District on Tuesday (Dec. 26).
The Taipei City Fire Department has initiated an investigation into the incident, with the possible cause of death believed to be related to the cold weather.
The Taipei City Fire Department received notification of the incident at 8:25 a.m. earlier that day, reporting the death of a 58-year-old male officer in his bedroom. Paramedics confirmed the officer's death upon arrival.
