TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The honor guards and the Joint Military Marching Band are preparing for the National Day celebration slated on Oct. 10, highlighting the country's rich heritage and military precision.

The honor guards have a tough job of carrying the M1 rifles during the National Day ceremony. These rifles are heavy, weighing 6 kilograms and measuring 1.3 meters in length.

Perfecting the ceremonial display of these rifles requires rigorous training and dedication.

The military also showcased their impressive CH-47SD Chinook helicopter to the media on Tuesday (Oct. 3). Alongside the helicopter was the Republic of China (ROC) flag, which measures an impressive 18 meters in length and 12 meters in width.

Preparing and rolling up such a massive flag requires the coordination of over ten people, in addition to the honor guards' preparations.

With these meticulous preparations and displays, Taiwan is set to mark its National Day with pride and precision, paying homage to its history and military prowess.
