TAIPEI (TVBS News) — A hairdressing student unintentionally sent shivers down the spines of bus passengers in Taiwan when a mannequin head used for practice startled unsuspecting riders. The incident, which occurred on a bus, serves as a reminder of the importance of properly handling and storing teaching materials.

In a scene straight out of a horror film, passengers found themselves face-to-face with a disheveled-haired woman sporting an icy gaze as the bus came to a halt. Startled and fearing the worst, they soon realized that the eerie visage was an improperly stored mannequin head.

According to hairdressing teachers, students must ensure the secure storage of their practice materials to avoid such alarming situations. One student from the hairstyling program revealed her precautionary measure of keeping the mannequin head's face turned towards herself, thus preventing potential scares to fellow passengers.

While the student responsible for the incident did not have ill intentions, this occurrence sheds light on the everyday experiences shared by hair designers who have often been met with alarmed gazes when carrying mannequin heads in public.

Principal Liu Yu-sanz of Yuda High School's fashion design department stressed the significance of proper handling and storage practices for teaching materials, including mannequin heads. Not only do such practices prevent startling incidents, but they also safeguard partially completed hairstyling works.

Schools have now reminded hairdressing students to exercise caution and responsible storage practices when transporting their practice tools, ensuring a more tranquil and less hair-raising commute for all passengers.
