TAIPEI (TVBS News) — With a few days to go before the Taipei legislative by-election on Jan. 8, candidates from all parties have been campaigning hard.
In particular, Democratic Progressive Party's candidate Enoch Wu invited Vice President Lai Ching-te to show his support during his campaign event on Wednesday (Jan. 4).
In addition to voicing support, the vice president also called out recent bribery scandals among certain politicians in Tainan.
In Taipei, Kuomintang's candidate Wang Hung-wei also called on supporters from a campaign car with Tainan City Councilor Hsieh Lung-chieh.
The duo waved and called to the general public for support as they head into the final leg of the by-election race.
As election day nears, all candidates are giving it their all to prove to Taipei citizens that they are the right choice for the job.
