TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei's New Mayor Chiang Wan-an started his first day on the job on Monday (Dec. 26), which also happened to be his 44th birthday.
Chiang attended a 7:30 a.m. meeting, during which issues, such as the Taipei Dome, Neihu traffic, and this year's New Year's Eve celebrations, were discussed.
According to Chiang, the Taipei City government will try its best to achieve " anything good for the people of Taipei."
Chiang also said that two of the city government main missions are to reach the goals they set, and strengthen communications between government divisions in the city.
