TAIPEI (TVBS News) — As the temperatures dip in Taiwan, many rely on hand warmers to stay toasty in the cold. But where should we put hand warmers on our bodies to get warm faster?
According to a Japanese expert, placing them on either side of the waist near the liver and kidneys is best, as plenty of blood passes through both organs.
In addition, placing them in the middle of your collarbone, behind your neck, or below your belly button works. With these strategic placements, the hand warmers can quicken blood flow and bring the heat up your hands and feet much faster.
However, users should take care to move the portable heaters around every 10 to 15 minutes to avoid accidental burns.
