NEW TAIPEI (TVBS News) — A 36-year-old man was found dead in the Tamsui District of New Taipei City with a knife wound to his neck.
Preliminary examinations suggest that the knife wound on Tu's neck, the knife found at the scene, and the blood spatter patterns, may indicate suicide. Police investigators contacted the victim's family, named Tu, for further inquiries. The exact cause of death is still under investigation.
Tu's hands show no signs of defensive wounds, which rules out the possibility of potential interference from other individuals at this initial stage. According to statements made by relatives, the victim had a history of multiple illnesses and previous suicide attempts.
