TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The Central Weather Bureau (CWB) has issued heat warnings for seven cities and counties in Taiwan, emphasizing the urgent need for preventive measures against the scorching temperatures. To beat the blistering heat, many people in Taiwan have resorted to utilizing portable electric fans while venturing outdoors.

The CWB uses a color-coded system to assess the severity of heat waves nationwide. On July 13th, an "orange" heat advisory was issued for Yunlin County, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County, indicating that temperatures will likely reach a sweltering 36°C for three consecutive days.

Furthermore, a "yellow" heat alert has been issued for Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Hualien County, suggesting a one-day high of 36°C in these regions. Given the recent severity of heat across Taiwan, it is crucial to prioritize hydration and sun safety.

Well-acquainted with scorching hot summers, the people in Taiwan have unsurprisingly utilized various gadgets to cope with the relentless heat. The creative solutions employed include portable electric fans, cooling neck wraps, and even umbrellas equipped with rotating fan blades. Among these innovations, portable handheld electric fans are the most popular choice.

A portable handheld electric fan becomes an indispensable accessory during the summer. These fans are predominantly battery-operated or rechargeable and can be carried in handbags. Their compact and sleek designs enable individuals to find the perfect fan that suits their cooling needs and complements their sense of style.
