The concerts, part of their "THIS IS FOR" tour, will take place at the Kaohsiung National Stadium (高雄國家體育場) on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 22-23). This milestone marks the nine-member group's first official performances in Taiwan, demonstrating their immense popularity among local fans.
Organizers anticipate 100,000 fans will attend the two concerts across both days. TWICE initially announced only the Friday (Nov. 22) event, but overwhelming demand during the Monday (Aug. 26) priority sale for DBS Bank cardholders prompted organizers to add a second show. Live Nation members received priority access Wednesday (Aug. 27) when the Saturday (Nov. 23) concert was announced, before general ticket sales began Thursday (Aug. 28).
ONCE, the official name of TWICE's dedicated fanbase, eagerly snapped up tickets, leading to a near-total sellout within minutes of sales going live. Some fans reported success purchasing tickets using DBS cards during the initial priority release, while others persistently refreshed the ticket sales page hoping to secure seats. Through this determined approach, some fans managed to obtain tickets even 30 to 60 minutes after the general sale began.
Tzuyu (子瑜), the Taiwanese member of the group, encouraged fans on the first day of ticket sales by indicating there would still be opportunities to purchase tickets. Many fans discovered her words proved accurate during Thursday's (Aug. 28) ticketing process, as persistence rewarded those who continued attempting to secure seats. The member's reassurance provided hope to disappointed fans who initially faced sold-out messages on their screens. ◼
