TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che (黃偉哲) announced on Wednesday (March 5) that he expects the 2025 Asia Pacific Orchid Island and Taiwan International Orchid Show (2025亞太蘭花會議暨台灣國際蘭展) to attract 350,000 visitors, surpassing last year's record of 300,000. The event will occur from March 8-23 in Houbi District (後壁區).
Organizers will blend orchids with fashion, light and shadow technology, and immersive experiences, offering attendees a chance to explore the allure of urban jungle art and the deep integration of ecology and art.
Mayor Huang stated that the Taiwan International Orchid Show has become a world-class event by combining it with the Asia Pacific Orchid Conference. He hopes more people will join us in moving toward the next 20 years.
The show opens on International Women's Day, March 8, and all women are free to enter. Special shuttle services via Taiwan Railway and High-Speed Rail will be available during the exhibition, enabling free rides with electronic tickets.
