TAOYUAN (TVBS News) — The Taiwan Lantern Festival (台灣燈會) kicked off on Wednesday (Feb. 12) in Taoyuan, showcasing over 300 spectacular lantern installations.
To attract more visitors to the festival, the Tourism Administration (觀光署) has arranged four exclusive Taiwan Tour Bus (台灣觀光巴士) packages, offering daily tours until the festival ends on Feb. 23.
A Malaysian tourist praised the tour bus packages, noting that every attraction is covered. She added that translation services are provided inside the bus, and favorable pricing is offered.
Manager Teng (鄧) of a travel agency emphasized that tours can commence with just four people, regardless of time and location. He added that the tour bus agency even offers door-to-door pick-up services for those along the route.
Following the end of the nine-day Lunar New Year holiday, pairing the tour bus with the Lantern Festival (元宵節) allows tourists to experience Taiwan's beauty effortlessly.
