TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The 2025 LOHAS Cherry Blossom Festival (2025樂活夜櫻季) launched on Friday (Jan. 24) at Lohas Park in Neihu (內湖樂活公園), Taipei City, drawing numerous visitors eager to witness the floral spectacle.
The festival, themed "Happiness Under the Cherry Blossom Trees" (櫻花樹下的幸福), will run through Feb. 15, offering a vibrant display of cherry blossoms, including kanhizakura, yoshino, and yaezakura (double-flowered) varieties.
Organizers have also set up Disney Princess photo boards featuring Princess Jasmine and Rapunzel among others, to enhance the festive atmosphere.
On the opening day, the park hosted the "LOHAS Cherry Blossom Market," offering a variety of culinary delights and creative goods from noon to 8 p.m. Visitors also enjoyed the "Floral Joy Feast Concert X Disney Princess," which began at 5:30 p.m. with performances by groups such as the Donghu Elementary School String Orchestra (台北市東湖國小弦樂團).
Due to limited parking near Lohas Park, organizers recommend visitors take the Taipei Metro Brown Line to Donghu Station or buses to Donghu Community Station or Donghu Elementary School Station.
