TAIPEI (TVBS News) — EasyCard Corporation (悠遊卡公司) announced plans Wednesday (Nov. 27) to release a commemorative card celebrating Team Taiwan's historic victory in the 2024 WBSC Premier12 baseball championship. The card aims to honor the team and support youth baseball in rural Taiwan through a charitable initiative. The commemorative EasyCard will be available for pre-order starting Friday at 11 a.m.
The card features notable players, including Taiwan's captain Chen Chieh-hsien (陳傑憲), clean-up hitter Lin An-ko (林安可), and ace pitcher Lin Yu-min (林昱珉). EasyCard Corporation stated that the pre-order period will last until Dec. 3 at 11:59 p.m., with each card priced at NT$120. All proceeds from the sale will fund efforts to enhance baseball facilities for children in rural areas, foster talent, and encourage fans to support the sport.
EasyCard Corporation emphasized that the pre-order can be made through FamilyMart's mobile app, Books.com.tw (博客來品牌旗艦館), and PChome24h Shopping (PChome24h購物). This initiative reflects a commitment to nurturing future baseball stars and providing a supportive environment for young athletes. Fans have the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while celebrating a landmark achievement in Taiwan's sports history.
