TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The National Day preparatory committee (國慶籌備委員會) on Sunday (Oct. 6) staged a rehearsal for the National Day ceremony in front of the Presidential Office building.
The event featured a Boeing CH-47 Chinook (CH-47運輸直升機) hoisting a massive national flag, symbolizing the Republic of China's "strong will and resilient progress" (堅強意志、堅韌前行).
The rehearsal included a dynamic display by the Military Police Command's Quick Reaction Force, showcasing their skill and teamwork.
Soldiers rode "Indian Challenger" motorcycles, impressing the audience with their precision and expertise. The event, open to the public, attracted many citizens who took advantage of the pleasant weather to witness the spectacle and capture the military police's prowess on their smartphones.
The grand finale featured performances by the armed forces inflatable mascots, the CPBL Cheerleading Squad (中華職棒啦啦隊), the Chinese Taipei Cheerleading Association (中華競技啦啦隊), and the Albert Cheerleading Squad (愛伯特啦啦隊).
Their energetic program, titled "Dance of Youth, Shake the World" (舞動青春 撼動世界), captivated the audience with its vibrant display. As the National Day approaches, these rehearsals set the stage for a memorable celebration, promising a spirited and engaging event for all attendees.
