TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Minister of National Defense Wellington Li-Hsiung Koo (顧立雄) on Tuesday (Sept. 24) stated that China ranks as the top nation engaging in daily cyberattacks against Taiwan and other countries with similar values.

China's Ministry of State Security (中華人民共和國國家安全部) on Monday claimed that Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense (MND, 國防部) had launched cyberattacks against China, targeting three active-duty personnel.

Koo responded and stated that the content related to China's accusations is untrue, although he cannot provide further details.

Koo also addressed the revelation of the three active-duty personnel, asserting that the Taiwanese military remains committed to defending the nation and will not be deterred by China's disclosure.
