TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Mandopop super star A-Mei (張惠妹) announced on Thursday (Sept. 12) that she will hold five concerts at the Taipei Dome (台北大巨蛋) in December, including a countdown concert, potentially setting a record as the artist with the most performances at the venue.
A-Mei's record label confirmed she will follow in the footsteps of Jody Chiang (江蕙) and Jay Chou (周杰倫), becoming the third artist to perform there. A-Mei took to Facebook to share her excitement, writing, "Here I come," signaling her upcoming New Year's Eve concerts in Taipei.
Meanwhile, Aaron Kwok (郭富城) announced his return to Taipei Arena (台北小巨蛋) for concerts after a five-year hiatus. He plans to help fans celebrate the New Year early, with tickets going on sale on Sept. 20 and 21.
Jody Chiang will also make a significant return in October, performing at the National Day concert after nearly a decade of hiatus. Additionally, Jay Chou will hold his solo concert at the Taipei Dome in early December, adding to the excitement for music fans in Taipei.
