CHIAYI (TVBS News) — Culture Minister Li Yuan (李遠) visited the Chiayi Cultural and Creative Industries Park (嘉義市文創園區) on Monday (Aug. 26), accompanied by Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Legislator Wang Mei-hui (王美惠).

Li aimed to understand the park's operations and commend the cultural and artistic professionalism of the resident businesses.

Li also praised the park's original site features and offered suggestions. He shared opinions on how visitors can take photos of historical buildings and inquired whether the brewery and wheat storage tanks could be transformed into an accommodation experience.

Wang expressed her hope that the Ministry of Culture (MOC, 文化部) would collaborate with the management team to integrate Chiayi's local artistic characteristics into the park's plans. She also urged more weekend activities to ensure that Chiayi residents and tourists could continually experience the city's rich cultural heritage during each visit.
