NEW TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The New Taipei City Government is set to host an Olympic athletes' autograph session on Thursday (Aug. 15) at 3:30 p.m. in the first-floor lobby of the New Taipei City Hall, aiming to honor the city's athletes who have excelled in their respective sports.
The autograph session will last until 4:30 p.m., allowing attendees to bring their own items for the athletes to sign. Prominent athletes attending include Olympic boxing gold medalist Lin Yu-ting (林郁婷), judoka Lien Chen-ling (連珍羚), artistic gymnast Ting Hua-tien (丁華恬), taekwondo athlete Lo Chia-ling (羅嘉翎), as well as archers Lei Chien-ying (雷千瑩), Tang Chih-chun (湯智鈞), and Tai Yu-hsuan (戴宇軒).
Tennis players Latisha Chan (詹詠然) and Angel Chan (詹皓晴), who are also from New Taipei City, will not attend the event as they are currently abroad. The city government encourages fans to follow the New Taipei Sports Hub's Instagram account (@newtaipeisportshub) for more details about the event.
