TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Tech giants NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, AMD CEO Lisa Su, and Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger gathered at COMPUTEX 2024, highlighting Taiwan’s pivotal role in the global tech industry and attracting significant international media attention.

A Korean reporter seized the opportunity to interview Jensen Huang on June 4 at COMPUTEX. "Do you have any plans to visit Korea this year? Or Korean companies like Samsung Electronics?" Huang responded, "I would love to visit Korea this year, but right now, I’m in Taiwan," displaying his sense of humor.

Many international journalists visited COMPUTEX, some for the first time. Fasano, an Italian reporter for Tutto Tech, described Taiwan as "the center of the world." "I've covered CES in Las Vegas, the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and the Game Developers Conference, and you've never seen Jensen Huang, Intel CEO, or AMD CEO Lisa Su walking around like this."

Altoveros, a Philippine producer for YugaTech, shared his perspective on the difference in experience from last year's COMPUTEX. "Last year, we got to see more hardware. This year, there are a lot more servers and technical data banks. I think it is more for the business side of things, like entrepreneurs."

Not only mainstream media but numerous self-media outlets participated in COMPUTEX, producing popular content and demonstrating global interest in the event.
