TAIPEI (TVBS News) — The New Taipei City Government Labor Affairs Department (新北市政府勞工局) is set to host a job fair on Thursday (June 6), offering over 3,000 job opportunities, including 990 part-time positions.
The event, featuring 54 companies such as Xintec, Prologium, PEGAVISION, FineTek, Din Tai Fung, Tim Ho Wan, Wang Steak, Regent Taipei, Grand Hyatt Taipei, Starbucks, MUJI, and IKEA, aims to address the employment needs in various sectors.
Chen Jui-chia (陳瑞嘉), the director of the Labor Affairs Department, highlighted that nearly half of the vacancies are in the hospitality and catering industry, followed by retail and wholesale businesses at 21%, and the technology manufacturing sector at 13%.
Notably, eight companies are offering over a hundred positions each, with five of these being in the hospitality and catering sector.
