TAIPEI (TVBS News) — China Airlines announced on Thursday (May 9) that it is recruiting more than 100 cabin crew members and expects to hire 120 pilots this year.

The airline is expanding its operations and workforce as the tourism industry rebounds from the pandemic. It launched a new route between Taipei and Seattle on July 14, enhancing its network with convenient flights across Northeast and Southeast Asia, totaling about 400 weekly flights.

Other airlines are also expanding their teams. Tigerair Taiwan has added over 100 pilots and cabin crew to its roster. EVA Air hosted a recruitment seminar at National Tainan University, drawing students keen on aviation careers.

China Airlines offers competitive benefits in its drive to nurture aviation talent, including discounted flights and top industry salaries for cabin crew. The airline welcomes individuals passionate about aviation to join its growing team.
