TAIPEI (TVBS News) — NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has recently spoken publicly about Taiwan, declaring his ambition to be the best "ambassador for Taiwan."
Speaking at a Taiwanese gathering at Silicon Valley last Thursday (March 21), Huang reiterated Taiwan's central role in the "new artificial intelligence (AI) revolution."
Huang expressed his desire to be the best "ambassador for Taiwan," emphasizing Taiwan's pivotal position in artificial intelligence (AI) and the new industrial revolution. He invited everyone to work together to ensure Taiwan's critical status.
Huang believes that AI technology will trigger a global revolution in industry and computing, and he sees Taiwan at the heart of this revolution. He followed up by announcing that he will visit Taiwan in a few months to share his views and pledged to serve as an ideal "ambassador for Taiwan," promoting Taiwan's global significance.
The 2024 Computex will begin on June 5 this year, and Huang will come to Taiwan to give a speech. Computex will also invite Charles Liang, president of server giant Super Micro Computer Inc., Lisa Su, chairman and CEO of Advanced Micro Devices, and Cristiano Amon, president and CEO of Qualcomm, to give keynote speeches.
