TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Expecting to be an AI feast this year, the 2024 Computex Taipei is set to run from June 4 to 7. The organizer, Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), has announced on Thursday (March 7) that Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger has been invited to deliver a keynote speech.
Many anticipate that Gelsinger's address will focus on the new look of the AI PC era, given this year's theme, "Connecting AI."
The convention will be the first time for NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) CEO Lisa Su, and Gelsinger to gather together. Their presence will underscore Taiwan's role in propelling global AI development.
The event will be held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1 and 2, spreading across six themes: AI computing, next-gen communications, future mobility, immersive reality, green energy, and innovation.
The event will pull in 1,500 exhibitors displaying up to 4,500 stalls, the organizer shared.
