TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an celebrated his first year in office on Thursday (Dec. 21) with a video message emphasizing his commitment to change and progress. The video, titled "Everything has started, change is underway," was released by the Taipei City Government.
The video offered a glimpse into the life journey of a Taipei resident, showcasing key life stages such as birth, education, relocation, marriage, and entrepreneurship.
Highlighting Mayor Chiang's achievements during his first year, the video spotlighted policies including increased birth rewards, AI-powered learning spaces for the youth, progress on the Taipei Dome, the return of Chongyang respect for the elderly funds, and enhanced support for startups.
Mayor Chiang portrayed various roles in the video, symbolizing his dedication to offering policy support and services at every phase of citizens' lives, from being a driver and teacher to a bus passenger and mountain climber.
The video creatively used diverse frame sizes and scene transitions to provide different perspectives of Taipei to various demographics, conveying a vision of a sustainable and inclusive capital.
