TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) presidential candidate Lai Ching-te attended the 120th-anniversary celebration of Taipei First Girls High School (TFG) on Tuesday (Dec. 12), enjoying performances by the school's band and the "Orange Devils" from Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Band.
He did not give interviews or speeches during the event but interacted with the public, taking photos and shaking hands. He also remained silent when questioned about the "108 Curriculum" guidelines controversy.
Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an arrived later, attending a separate event, the completion ceremony for the renovation of the Guang-Fu building, a historic site on campus, where he distributed small gifts to students.
