TAIPEI (TVBS News) — Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) presidential candidate Lai Ching-te unveiled a new set of LINE stickers titled "Cats and Dogs Love Taiwan" on Friday (Dec. 8) in anticipation of the country's upcoming elections.
Lai, who had previously collaborated with illustrator Stupid Sheep for a sticker pack, now introduces a fresh set after ten months.
This sticker collection features illustrations of cats and dogs, along with caricatures of Lai and his running mate, Hsiao Bi-khim. Building upon the popularity of the previous "cat and dog badge" illustrations, these new stickers incorporate additional design elements and patterns into the LINE platform.
The cartoon depictions of Lai and Hsiao include iconic memes like "I want it all," aimed at appealing to both feline and canine enthusiasts and generating laughter among their supporter base.
Kuo Ya-hui, spokesperson for Lai's campaign office, expressed the hope that these new stickers would encourage supporters, whether cat or dog lovers, to download and join the "Taiwan side."
