TAIPEI (TVBS News) — As Taiwan gears up for the 2024 presidential election, a distinguished panel will come together for "Taiwan Goes to The Polls," an English-language roundtable on Dec. 13.
The event, hosted by ICRT and TVBS World Taiwan at the National Normal University in Taipei, will feature Gavin Phipps as the lead moderator.
The panel includes Bloomberg's Samson Ellis from Taipei, Assistant Professor Lev Nachman of National Chengchi University, veteran journalist Fan Chifei, and visiting scholar Chiaoning Su.
ICRT General Manager Timothy Berge and Dimitri Bruyas, head of English Content at TVBS News, will join Phipps in moderating the discussion. The session will start with Bruyas providing insights from the latest TVBS Poll Center data.
The panelists will delve into various topics, including current polling data, candidate evaluations, key policy debates, and the election's international implications. Their aim is to shed light on the dynamics of Taiwan's presidential race and its significance on a global level.
